Velociraptor Awareness Day

Wednesday, April 8, 2009

Today is Velociraptor Awareness Day! The threat of Velociraptors is very real, and we must all be ready and vigilant at all times. They can strike at any time, and they are harder to outrun than the majority of the zombies in current cultural representations.

If you so happened to be logged on to the ever-popular and ever-growing website that is more commonly known as Facebook, you can check out the specific event-related details here. Amount of text used to introduce links is now at an all-time high.

I already watched Jurassic Park I to celebrate, but you can do anything you want.

Some of the recommended activities (quasi-quoted from the Facebook event):

  • Read up on the latest info, and be prepared to hold impromptu seminars on the streets.
  • Post up “Velociraptor Entry Point” sins on the weak areas in your neighborhood or going online to your favorite forum and raising the alarm, let people know what’s up!
  • Dress up and hold mock attacks throughout the day to really raise eyebrows and raise awareness.
  • Film it up, whether it be Jurassic Park, or your favorite educational video, every little bit helps!
  • Light it up and hold a candlelight vigil in a central area for the victims and their families.
  • Party it up! If the day is over, and everyone is still alive, you’ve done your job, so celebrate!

Here are some of the best Velociraptor related links I could find!

I would really like to know if you believe that today it really is much harder to get a public proxy? I’ve never been an experienced in this subject, but earlier it was easier to locate a working proxy. Now it is extremely difficult. I think this is because increasing the amount of people who deal using spam. Too some people are engaged throughout mindless spamming. Maybe you know some good proxy service? I not use some sort of proxy to breaking, or send spam e mail.

  3. Greatplay.net has a proxy at http://www.greatplay.net/proxy. I promise it will be up again shortly. Other than that, I don’t know — I recommend Google Searching.

  4. The proxy is now back up.
