Some Site News
Thursday, July 21, 2011
Occasionally things happen to change this site’s look and/or how this site functions, and I like to keep you peoples updated so you know what is going on. Posts like this do just that!
This site has, at least in my opinion, lots of cool and interesting updates that are now happening on a five-times-a-week (sort of) basis. One way to stay on top of posts is to type “http://www.greatplay.net” into your browser every weekday, or include Greatplay.net among your bookmarks.
However, there are quite a few other ways to stay updated:
The first is RSS: Greatplay.net has an RSS Feed that you can subscribe to using whatever means you have, and stay on top of posts as they happen.
The second is subscribe by email: There is an email box on the sidebar. You put your email in that box, hit “Submit!” and you will be emailed whenever there is a new post on the site.
The third is to follow me on twitter: I have a twitter account, @peterhurford, where I post announcements of each new post, among some other things.
The fourth is to like me on Facebook: Greatplay.net has a Facebook page where daily updates are posted, and you can click “Like” to get access to that.
The Atheist Blogroll
Mojoey, from the blog Deep Thoughts has put together an Atheist Blogroll of all the atheist and agnostic bloggers on the internet. The Atheist blogroll is a community building service provided free of charge to Atheist bloggers from around the world.
I identify as an atheist, and I enjoy writing about both naturalism and humanism, including an introduction into what Naturalism-Humanism is, a discussion about the definition of “atheism”, twelve reasons I don’t believe in the supernatural, the problem of evil, the problem of divine hiddenness, and reasons not to take pascal’s wager. Therefore, the atheist blogroll is a great fit for me, and I’ll enjoy being listed among some other great blogs.
You can see the blogroll button in my sidebar. If you would like to join, visit Mojoey at Deep Thoughts for more information.
Ads
As you’ve also probably noticed, I’ve decided to also return some advertisements to the sidebar to try them out. In the past, they haven’t made me all that much money, but I always like to experiment with new ways of running things. Hopefully the ads are not disruptive.
That’s all in terms of site updates for now, but I’ll continue to keep you informed.
