I want to do NaNoWriMo, except on my blog: I will be writing my 50,000 words in a series of blog essays for the month of November, attempting to write a blog post every day, something I wasn’t even able to do in my blogging experiment when I wasn’t a full time student. Read This Article → |

Why Argue About Religion?
![]() | Monday, August 1, 2011
Earlier, I wrote an essay detailing reasons why problems in prayer can be used to show that Christianity is false. In response to this essay, I got a comment explaining to me why arguing about religion is a waste of time, and how maybe my efforts could be put to more constructive purposes. In response to this response, I offer this essay explaining why I argue against religion and why such arguments aren’t insulting or arrogant, but instead worthwhile for many reasons. The Death of a Friend
![]() | Wednesday, July 13, 2011
One of my friends at Denison University, Sarah “Neelu” Jose, died on July 10, 2011. Two years ago, I made a post that detailed the ten songs I had played the most in my music player. After stumbling upon this post in the archives and noticing that it was near the two year anniversary, I decided to follow it up to see how much my music tastes have changed. Read This Article → |
Essays that Inspire Me
![]() | Wednesday, May 4, 2011
t’s not often enough that I celebrate the work others — especially the others who’s written ideas have really inspired me to keep writing for myself; the others who’s works are what I attempt to summarize and build off of. So that’s why today I have decided to write a list of all sorts of writings that have gotten me to think the way I think today; the writings of the giants — the giants who have shoulders that I do not yet stand upon, but meekly and humbly climb toward. A lot of the work here is reflected greatly in the work I write on my blog — this should show my respect and inspiration I derive from these authors. Read This Article → |
2010 In Review
![]() | Friday, December 31, 2010
Like 2009 before it, this blog has seen another year come and go. Luckily it has been revived soon enough to document it. Here’s to 2010, another great year. While being a relative snooze compared to the action-packed 2009, we at least had a lot of earthquakes. This post is my tribute to both the year and my website’s involvement in it. See you all in 2011! Read This Article → |
