Follow up to: Back for a Third Blogxperiment
Previously this summer, I was doing my third blogxperiment to do an essay a weekday, and I found it worked very well to keep me motivated to write, keep my ideas flowing, and making time to focus on my blog. 70 hopefully high quality essays later, I think it worked. I did a lot this summer, both on this blog and off it. And I’ve personally noticed a high uptick in my writing ability and site noticeability.
However, today’s the first day of classes for my junior year of college. And while summer was busy, the school year promises to be significantly busier, and I don’t think I could continue this one-essay-a-weekday format. On the other hand, now that I write much shorter and faster, maybe I can, depending on what I write about.
I’m still of the persuasion that while I don’t want to get stuck to a posting schedule, it’s still the case that posting in a regular schedule makes it much easier for people to follow you. So I think I’m going to try to do the once-a-weekday thing for this week, and then see how that goes as the school year unravels. You’ll get another announcement from me when a more clear posting schedule emerges from this.
See you tomorrow, when hopefully you read more of my words on your screen.
I now blog at EverydayUtilitarian.com. I hope you'll join me at my new blog! This page has been left as an archive.
