I’ve recently been thinking that I write too much about atheism, and it just hasn’t been interesting to me like it once usually was. Perhaps you’ve noticed, I’ve been dialing it back, having only brushed up on religion in my essays three times in the last two months, and having not argued against the existence of gods since I ended the series on TheraminTrees back on August 16.

So now I’m going to make it official. I may, from time to time, reference religion and atheism (as a quick aside, or by just having a secular philosophy, etc.) but I will not overtly talk about religion (or theism, atheism, gods, etc.) for the rest of the year.

Let this not mean that I’ve run out of ammunition. On the contrary, I have tons of things I want to say about religion. However, I want these things to stay on the sidelines until 2013, to give time for my other thoughts to shine.
